Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Available in Select Part of Clinton

The City of Clinton once again has Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) grant funding from the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) and the City of Clinton $7,000 match for a total of $31,999 to use in order to provide housing rehabilitation assistance to LMI households. The current program is for homes within an area bound by 2nd Avenue South on the north, South 5th Street on the east, 8th Avenue South on the south and South 9th Street and South Bluff Boulevard on the west, as indicated on the map below. The interior sides of the border streets would be included in this area.
Owner/Occupied homes only that meet the guidelines and once renovations are complete are required to live in the house for five (5) years and will not have to pay any of the funding back.

Application forms can be picked up at the Building & Neighborhood Services Department at City Hall.
