“Clinton County Health Department Awarded Clinton County Radon Outreach grant from Iowa Cancer Consortium for Radon Testing

 The Clinton County Health Department has received a grant from the Iowa Cancer Consortium for Clinton County Radon Outreach. The grant is available now and will continue until all funds are used or June 1, 2017, whichever occurs first. Clinton County Radon Outreach seeks to partner free private well water testing with free short-term radon testing. Up to 300 households will be able to receive one free short-term kit, with set-up included at no charge. The Clinton County Health Department appreciates the generous support from the Iowa Cancer Consortium, and the opportunity to gather radon data for Clinton County, while helping homeowners test their homes for radon without charge.
